I'm alive and well guys. I wonder who's still around though.
I recently took the time to fix up my old journal pictures in the case of nostalgia.

I don't think there's anything shocking that has happened to me since I stopped posting. I'm still in college, though I transferred to a new univerisity, UC San Diego, and it's great here. There's so much life around here and everyone's physically active. Though academically, I feel like dug myself into a deeper hole. Everyone is extremely smart, or maybe they're just more refined in their study habits. Anyway, I feel like I have to put in double the amount of time to study because I'm not a fast learner, you could say I'm dense.

I'm about 10 mins away from the nearest beach, La Jolla Shores. I would like to go there more often but most of the time I just chill with my roommates.

Oh shit! The girl in the photo below (one of my roommates) loves Tekken. I brought my PS2 and Tekken 5 with me, so we've been fighting whenever we feel like. We also got to play Tekken 6 at a local arcade.

I've been back to FFXI briefly a few times, but school is too busy for me to enjoy a good amount of time on there. I might be back during winter break, but that's a maybe.

Well that's a little bit about me. I don't know if I'll be posting here again. I've been wanting to create a new blog but I don't want it to be connected with my journal here. If I do post here again, it'll probably be a link to my new blog. Peace.

food
I thought American food was good til today. Family, which includes me sis dad mom uncle and aunt, I told them I was so over chinese/asian food so we went down to Jerry's Famous Deli on Ventura Blvd. Roast beef and pastrami sandwiches were so overrated, nothing special. Ordered me mom a charboiled chicken that came with the soggy frozen vegetables and fries. Everything was over $10 there and we ended up spending like $112 on garbage.

Ok i'm just going to stay with the authentic food, no fake american copies except for the usual in-n-out and pizza during college.

Ok so I'm still up at 3AM trying to take my mind off expansion. Anyway I finally found a torrent for the PC Ver (I think) of Treasures of Aht Urhgan. Now I don't have to buy both NA and JP CDs.

HELP SEED THIS!!!!!!!!
http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ihq=final+fantasy+xi+treasures&ext=&op=and

I was following Caile and a couple of his ls members on new expansion jobs in east ronfaure. I didn't see blu but I'd imagine that it'd be the most graphically impressive job. I saw some dice throwing from cor and the puppet from pup. Damn all you early-getters.

easy
This weekend I'll be having a chat with my parents to determine what college I'll be going to this fall. I've been researching on my own and found what I really want to do is 3d design and/or computer programming. I'm currently taking art 1 in school and my teacher offered to jump me to advanced art (that's skipping art 2 & 3) but guess what, I'm a senior. Combined with that I think something math related would be in my best interest. I'm sure taking pre-calculus, physics, and statistics this year should help in that direction. I was stupid to try and get into colleges with english and history as my major since those are the classes I had all A's in. My parents said I wouldn't get into a math major cause any math related class I had were B's or C's. So me and my parents now are trying to change my major from english to math.

Did this a while ago but never posted (I know, it's cheap)

Made this for my set

I gave the gob the horn and some items over a year ago cause I thought it was gonna be easy :/

After reading Seyumi's post about FFXI and life, it made me realize how much greater the effect of gaming is. How I love to shut out people when I'm playing and how I love to argue with my parents when I clearly have no good reasons. I there's been at least 3 people I see leave FFXI recently.. so I wonder if it is time for FFXI to come to a close. Having taken off playing FFXI this week put less stress on me but I still have this "lazy" factor that doesn't want to do any work.

I don't know what emo is really but I guess this is it:

Today was first time in a while that I've come back to feeling like a failure. I gained a small boost of confidence during my absence but now that I'm back without limitations from parents I can't help but feel my motivation for most of anything has faded/gone away.
My math exam was what made me realize how much I've neglected. I know that my math teacher is notoriously known for his "challenging" exams but today's was ridiculous. Our class time is about 55min and I had it all to take the test. When class ended, absolutely no one got up. I looked at my paper and I wasn't even half done. It was fucking ridiculous, like every problem had 5 parts. Of course my teacher always gave us time by taking it into our lunch time, so I had 55min + my 30min. Was freakin hungry that I couldn't concentrate anymore, and my vision was near-sighted now. So by the end of lunch I was one of the last one's that still didn't finish. Is this what to expect in college?
My attachment to FFXI has sort of been broken by the recent release of FF12. It has made me realize how much time I spend on it and putting aside other things. I'd rather be playing a game that I can schedule instead of it making me cancel or hold off things like family, dinners, hanging out, or even walking outside. I hate it when I have to cancel lunch with my aunt because there's dynamis or some event that takes 3hrs. I hate having to rush dinner because there's people waiting for me on the game. Don't know why I'm so attached to little pixels on a screen. Even though I have FF12, I've not played very much cause of school and I don't feel I deserve to until I finish schoolwork.
Not sure if this will just blow over.. probably just another hectic week. I just need more time in a day to do my homework and play games.. or just not play at all. I think this is that "time" my sister said that I'd realize what was more important. I wonder how'd different I'd be without ever picking up mmorpgs cause that's my whole 4 years in high school that I was bound with FFXI. Playing it for so long has made me have so much trouble just talking to people, online or rl. That is why I don't say much because I really don't know what to say. Sometimes I want to be funny but it's just not possible. Maybe the speech and debate team would've saved me from this mess...gnite

I've been having problems with my graphics card all this week. If you look below, my screen turns into "garbage" with lines and pixels. If you have any friends that may know a solution for this, please have them contact me. I would like to try all possible solutions before resorting to buying a new card. So far I've tried to install new drivers, tone down my graphic settings, and check pc fans. Usually I only get garbage when I'm playing a 3D game, but sometimes now it get garbaged when I start windows. Help :/

My sister called the shelter today and they said molly was still there. They told us she was "unadoptable" meaning she's going to be euthanised unless we go get her back today by 5PM.

Me, my sister, my aunt and uncle, were ready to go get molly back but we need our dad to come sign for her since the liscense was under his name.. but my dad complained how she gave us fleas and grief..

Don't know what else to do, my dad doesn't seem like he'll fall over and let us get molly back.
